I’m told that there are pubs in which people don’t sit around discussing antimatter and time reversal by sketching Feynman diagrams on seasickness bags, but who would want to drink in one those?

Beats the back of an envelope…

What are they made of? They feel like strong paper, but mere paper would get soggy and fail within seconds if used as intended.

On my most recent flight I looked for the sick bag to place the core of an apple I’d just eaten, but there was none. Have they been discontinued?

    • I’ve seen them on most or perhaps even all of my recent flights.

Allegedly there are horror movies where similar bags are included for the price of admission. 😐

I’ve can think of movies where I’d have got more enjoyment out of putting the bag over my head.

It was stout paper but lined with some sort of plastic on the inside, presumably to keep the contents warm.

I remember sitting in the Kings Street Run in Cambridge with an America colleague, exchanging equations on Rizlas.
